Hi there! I’m Adesola Oguntimehin, a passionate and results-driven Cybersecurity GRC Professional, Compliance Manager and AI Governance Expert with over 4 years of experience helping organizations, startups, EdTech companies, and SMEs tackle security, risk, and compliance challenges.
My journey into cybersecurity began out of sheer curiosity during my time in the banking sector. I found myself asking: Who are these people hacking into customer accounts? How is personal data accessed and misused? These questions sparked my deep interest in cybersecurity and fueled my transition into the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) space.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—HR professional, customer service manager, virtual assistant, and more, each role equipping me with valuable, cross-functional skills. I’ve successfully navigated these paths while building a fulfilling career in cybersecurity and each experience shaped my GRC career trajectory.
Today, I lead with a vision: to simplify compliance, empower teams, eliminate AI risks and raise security standards. I’m the founder of The CyberPatron Network, an initiative focused on mentoring, training, and delivering security solutions to businesses. I’ve also had the privilege of partnering with and co-founding startups that are now thriving.
